Growing up with a mum, grandma and great grandfather as hairdressers, I wanted to be anything BUT a hairdresser, but growing up with so much talent I found that nothing came easier, and now I wouldn’t change it for the world,

I spend every day working with my best friends, co-workers and clients, and am definitely living the quote “love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life” to the fullest!

Jade has been at Cheveux since its inception 6 years ago when Alanah took over the business. With a swag of regular clients who she views as her friends, Jade is the go-to for upstyles, blow dries and curls. Fridays are always bedlam for Jade as she gets her clients weekend ready with a blow dry, but it is weddings that keep her running! She has over 80 of them booked in for the year.

Originally from Penrith, Jade moved to Mudgee with her family when she was 10 years old. 2022 is a big year for Jade and her partner Charlie as they build their first home which will also be a place for her cat Brett to rule the roost.

Foiling & everything blondes is what our Senior Stylist Amy Kelly is known for after four years with Cheveux. Amy loves being able to make her clients feel good about themselves, and making personal connections with them and the question they ask her the most is, ‘how do I make curls with a straightener’?

Growing up in Mudgee and attending Mudgee high school, Amy is now a busy mum. When she is not at the salon you can find her with her two little boys, Sonny and Leo.

Kaylee, aka kk, aka cool cat, aka Kakes, was the glass slipper this salon needed. Kaylee has been hairdressing for 7 years come September 2024, for 5 of those years she’s become a blonde hair specialist and has recently taken on a new skill in bridal up styling.

Kaylee grew up in Mudgee for 16 years before she and her family made the big move to the central coast. In those 5 years she lived there she accomplished her hairdressing apprenticeship

Specializing in a wide range of blonde hues, from sun-kissed highlights to platinum perfection ,Kaylee has a deep understanding of the complexities involved in achieving the perfect blonde shade for each client. Their commitment to staying updated on the latest trends and techniques ensures that every client receives personalized, expert advice tailored to their unique preferences and lifestyle and absolutely loves to finish every client off with her signature bouncy blow-dry.

Montana is a senior stylist orignially starting her career in Parkes and then Bathurst before joining the team, with 7 years experience, and having not long moved to Mudgee her and her partner Jacob are about to welcome their first beautiful baby!

Monty prides herself in being a blonde specialist concentrating on hair health, but still pushing hair limits, and always learning along the way, She loves educating herself on new techniques in our forever changin industry,

Since starting at Cheveux shes found a love for Brdal styling and making women feel beautiful and stress free on their special day!

Monty loves working long side so many inspiring hairdressers and says it has given her a unique view and ability to tailor so many different techniques into her own work! She can’t wait to have you in her chair

Jo has had over 35 years experience in all aspects in the industry from styling hair on cruise liners, to owning and running her own successful salon in Newcastle
